Mortgage Servicer Wells Fargo Leaving Equator

Wells Fargo has been facilitating short sales through the online platform offered by equator for quite some time and were one of the original users. Lately many files are being worked outside of Equator with Wells Fargo and rumor has it that Wells Fargo leaving equator completely is underway. This could be a good thing as Wells Fargo is quite effective working files outside of equator and corresponding with email via secured messages. Personally, this change is welcomed and I feel it could expedite short sale time frames further. Wells Fargo is one of our favorite servicers to process short sales with and they are likely the bank that we have the best escalation / management contacts with.
